Eating can be a spiritual experience. We can find God in our feasting and celebrating. We can connect with the Divine and with one another in the stories of our kitchen table, the adventures at restaurants and the gift of take out.
Today my culinary palate took me to a diner not in Maine but in New Hampshire just along the Portsmouth traffic circle, there is a diner called the Roundabout Diner and Lounge where friendly staff and great customer service are top of the list !
This morning for my review I thought I’d go to small town locally owned cafe in South Berwick, Maine(the owner lives in the same town). I ordered their weekend special, the Italian Benedict
Just had a “Linner” so great I just had to put it on Facebook from Blast from the past diner in Scarborough.
We stopped at Dough Craft Pizza in Portsmouth by the Cinemagic Theater. The meatballs were amazing, great sauce and amazing made from scratch feta.
As we begin this meal with grace, let us become aware of the memory carried inside the food before us: the quiver of the seed awakening in the earth…
